
In June 2026, Volodymyr Kravchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative, Financial and Information Law at the State University of Trade and Economics (SUTE), visited the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Republic of Poland) as part of an international academic mobility project.
During the program, the lecturer took part in the International Scientific Conference "Human Rights and Modern Democracy," held on June 16-18, 2026, at the Jagiellonian University. Volodymyr Kravchenko presented a paper entitled “Administrative Discretion in the Light of European Standards: The Balance Between Governance Flexibility and the Rule of Law,” dedicated to pressing issues concerning the relationship between the discretionary powers of public administration and the principle of the rule of law in the context of European standards of good governance.
In addition to his conference presentation, working meetings were held with faculty members and the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, during which prospects for further scientific cooperation were discussed.
The foreign academic visit made it possible to promote SUTE's scientific achievements at the international level, exchange scientific experience with foreign colleagues, establish new contacts, and develop cooperation with representatives of foreign higher education institution. The understandings reached create additional opportunities for conducting joint scientific research and preparing scientific publications.
