Rector of the State University of Trade and Economics (SUTE), Anatolii Mazaraki, took part in the celebrations marking the national holiday of the Hellenic Republic - Independence Day of Greece.

During the event, the SUTE Rector personally congratulated the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Ukraine, Pantelis Alexandros Dimitrakopoulos, expressing his respect for the Greek people and noting the long-standing, strong friendship between our nations.

During the meeting, Anatolii Mazaraki emphasized the importance of developing academic and cultural ties, which serve as the foundation for the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Greece. In the course of their friendly conversation, they highlighted the role of SUTE in training professionals and implementing joint initiatives that facilitate the integration of Ukrainian education into the European space.

The presence of representatives from Ukraine’s leading higher education institutions at such high-level events demonstrates SUTE's high prestige on the international stage and the university's active role in the development of public diplomacy.

Greece has always been and remains a strategic partner of Ukraine, and such meetings contribute to deepening mutual understanding and opening new horizons for scientific and educational cooperation.
