
On October 1, 2026, the State University of Trade and Economics was officially visited by representatives of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine – Science Advisor Mr. Mykhailo Leshchenko and Economics Specialist Ms. Oleksandra Kamenieva.
The main objective of the visit was to become acquainted with the University's educational, scientific, and social infrastructure, as well as to hold negotiations on expanding prospects for further bilateral cooperation.
During a working meeting with SUTE leadership – Rector Anatolii Mazaraki, First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Nataliia Prytulska, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and International Relations Anzhelika Gerasymenko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Administrative-Economic Operations Oleksii Kulikov and Head of the International Relations Office Tamara Kortukova – the parties discussed key areas of partnership. Deans and Vice-Deans of faculties, Heads of Academic Departments, Head of the Veteran Development Center Alla Okhrimenko, as well as representatives of the SUTE Center for Mental Health and Psychophysiological Assessment Serhii Myronets and Ivan Pustovalov also joined the discussion and presentation of university initiatives.
During the talks, special attention was paid to expanding academic mobility programs for students and faculty, implementing joint research projects, and supporting veteran initiatives and mental health within the educational environment.
As part of the visit, a comprehensive tour of the University campus was conducted for the guests by Serhii Kravtsov, Senior Specialist of the International Relations Office. Representatives of the German diplomatic mission explored modern educational and scientific laboratories, the library complex, and visited SUTE's innovative Cyber Polygon. Special attention was dedicated to the activities of the Veteran Development Center and the Center for Mental Health and Psychophysiological Assessment. The guests commended the University’s high level of technological equipment, its strong social responsibility, and the adaptability of the educational process to contemporary security challenges.
