Project title: Links between theory and practice in cross-border education in Romania and Ukraine

The main goal of the project is to expand access to new technologies in order to improve the system of higher education in the field of Economics through cross-border cooperation and establishment of harmonious good-neighborly relations.

The objectives of the project are:

• to adapt educational programs to the dynamic demands of the current labor market and the digital economy for the benefit of students, academic communities, and Romanian/Ukrainian minorities in Suceava and Chernivtsi;

• to integrate advanced information technologies into educational processes through the creation of online learning platforms that provide access to shared educational resources tailored to the needs of the modern labor market and digital economy;

• to establish and ensure the technical and organizational support of innovative educational information infrastructure in the form of digital smart learning laboratories at the partner higher education institutions – Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of SUTE and Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava

The expected results of the project are:

• providing students in both cross-border regions – Chernivtsi Oblast and Suceava County – with equal access to relevant and applicable knowledge, contributing to competitive professional training;

• developing dynamic curricula that includes components adapted to current labor market demands, with a focus on digital competencies and the promotion of a sustainable economy;

• designing and implementing an online learning platform, as well as establishing and operating two integrated digital smart laboratories at the partner institutions, which will support academic staff in adapting curricula and developing students' digital skills.
